MEMORANDUM
(Memorandum Requesting to implement
the departmental committee report, without delay)
Sir,
As we are,
about 3lakh GDSs have been experiencing our situation of hanging over relating
to our seventh Pay Committee Report relating to pay and service condition in
the hand of Department of Post as a special Category of engagement not
employment, a discontentment among the Gramin Dak Sevaks is being blown all
over the Country since the Department did not allow the agreement for Judiciary
ethical Committee signed by the then Member( Posts) Hon’bl Sri Kamalesh Chandra
.
Though a long
time has passed since the Agreement for Judiciary Committee and the episode of
formation of Departmental officers Committee and the report of the Officers
Committee published late. The GDS are still deprived the benefit of the same
yet. Rather in the plea of review Committee after Committee taking mostly the
Departmental federal leaders are formed to impose all the will of Departmental
delegated power to GDS is a matter of ambiguity and the GDSs has no other way
only to become silent spectator .Now on behalf of about 3 lakh GDS we claim
early issuance of the gain of the pay Committee as our departmental colleagues
has already benefitted the 7th CPC outcome working in the same
organization since long ago.
We therefore
anticipate a natural justice in a humanitarian ground to have our gain of 7th
pay Committee( i.e.Kamalesh Chandra Committee)without delay to create a good
atmosphere for GDS to serve in the Department of Post. An early action is
highly appreciated.
